Name; Jason Orme
Position; Project Manager
Description; Part of Jason's role is to coordinate the many different day-to-day activities, people and projects going on at the centre.
Jason got involved with the project as a volunteer back in 1998, since then he has been instrumental in the long-term development and expansion of the project facilities and its team.
Responsible for securing the funding needed to continue the educational and restoration work on Borras Airfield; Jason is the lynchpin behind the existence of the Centre and the services it offers.
Name; Phil Coley
Position; Teacher
Description; Phil works with us for 3 days a week. As a semi retired mainstream teacher with plenty of experience, Phil works with students from across Wrexham with emotional behavioural problems; helping them develop practical skills whilst learning to manage their behaviour.
Phil is a proficient carpenter and brick layer; these skills combined with his farming background enable him to guide pupils through wood occupation, waste management and restoration projects in and around the site.

Description; Matthew is a newly qualified teacher; working within the 14-19 learning pathworks. Matt supports and mentors our students through 'Open College Network' Accreditations, ASDAN CoPE and Duke of Edinburgh awards.
Name; Stef Matthews
Position; (Adult) Teaching Assistant
Description; Stef coordinates a series of activities and workshops, part of the 19+ programme life skills package.
Coming from a nursing background Stef is a caring, patient person who encourages her looked after people to develop basic skills over their time with us. She works like a robot and always has a smile on her face.
Name; Josie Roberts
Position; Child Learning Support
Description; Every team has a mother hen, and Josie suits that description well. Running our small cafe with the student volunteers is one of her many tasks. She provides learning support to students with special needs and provides our students and team with much needed pastoral care.
Name; Paul Harrison

Description; Paul is our student mentor; working with our young lads who need a little extra support with the daily self management. He takes students to college, work placements and even takes the group on days out. Another valued member of our team, someone we just couldn't function without.
Sustainable Development Group
The Sustainable Development Group was established in 1998 to provide the Centre with the capacity to address the priorities within its strategic framework.
The group are a voluntary panel that meet 6 times a year to discuss funding issues and any future developments. The key functions of the panel are to:
· representing the interests of the Millennium Eco Centre and the wider community.
· to work in direct correlation with local and national government strategies and policies.
· promote performance improvement and best practice.
