Hi,

Just popped into the eco centre for a cup of tea with my long time friend, Margaret. Really interesting place, and very friendly staff. I'm very interested into the bird side of it, and was told by Jason that you have introduced several species back to the site.
Brilliant. Keep up with the good work.

We took our Eco Council to the centre. The pupils had a great afternoon. They took part in a range of activities including a mini-beast hunt and mask making. Phil Coley gave us an informative tour of the grounds and looked after us really well. We returned to school with lots of new ideas. Thanks for a fun and informative afternoon. We hope to come again.

We visited the centre at the beginning of March with Year 6 pupils. We found the Eco Centre very educational with Mr Paul as our Leader, who gave us an insight into the start up of the Eco Centre. Interestingly enough the Eco Centre used to be an old airfield that was in use during the second World War. We were taken to the edge of the sand quarry that used to be Borras Airfield to plant trees and shrubs to compensate for the lack of trees in the area. The pupils really enjoyed themselves.
